The 2018 Spring Breakfast was held on May 23rd. The topic of discussion was the possibility of Utah's inland port/global trade center. We invited a panel of experts, researchers, and international players from the logistics field moderated by Envision Utah’s CEO to discuss not only what makes an inland port successful, but key strategies for Utah to create a competitive global trade center that will bring economic growth through distribution and manufacturing.

This is a crucial issue for the entire state that affects Utahns in all sectors. The invitee list for the event included major logistics leaders in the state, freight forwarders, shipping & trucking companies, railways, the airport governing board, legislators, the Governor’s office, as well as importers and exporters from around the region.
